IDHR Event at the Chicago Bar Association
April 16, 2024. Attorney Marvet Sweis alongside the Illinois Department of Human Rights and AABAR organized a successful and widely attended program at the Chicago Bar Association in recognition of Arab American Heritage Month. Hon. William J. Haddad presented on an extraordinary list of notable Arab Americans through U.S. History, in the areas of science, medicine, media, academia, and more, including the founder of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

February 2024. Our very own attorney Marvet Sweis Drnovsek serves as Commissioner on the Illinois Commission on Discrimination and Hate Crimes.
